The 2nd Tempur World factory
In August 2000, construction began on the 2nd TEMPUR World Factory, located at Duffield, Virginia, USA. With an annual growth rate of 40 percent, the increase in volumes to be produced and handled requires a carefully planned investment program.
30,000 m2 factory area
In May 2001, the 30,000 m2 Duffield factory started production. It is scheduled to employ 250 people by 2003. The U.S. factory enables a substantially quicker and safer service, fulfilling the rapidly growing demands from the North American market.
